The world as you know it is no more. A nuclear war has torn up our world leaving only a few places behind to live. The ones who have survived are reaching the brink of their sanity. It’s up to you to restore order, or die trying. This, is Beyond Flesh and Blood.

Beyond Flesh and Blood is a 3rd person action shooter that utilizes the Unreal Engine to show off a dystopian world and the ones who still reside in it, for better or for worse.

Despite being a shooter there are very tactical elements in Beyond Flesh and Blood. The game puts you in a T.C.F, or a tactical combat frame (it’s a mech!) that you can upgrade for battle and use to hack into security towers to unlock abilities and improve the city itself. The mech also has the ability to manipulate gravity as well, making it a rather mobile mech. Your T.C.F. is the key to the whole game, it’ll be your end all be all for everything, upgrade it well and you might just survive.

Advancing through the game will allow you to build up your skillset and your mech, which you will need to survive the battles to come. The game promises an immersive world and “grand scale battles beyond anything you’ve ever encountered before”, a tall order, but the team at Pixelbomb seem confident.

The game also promises a simple and intuitive interface system which shall allow you to jump in and establish yourself in the game very quickly.

With a big world to explore, plenty of enemies to fight, and a mech to upgrade, Beyond Flesh and Blood seeks to test your mind as well as your fighting skills. The project is on Kickstarter and is seeking to raise 30,000 pounds.
